It is a big loss whether Iowa encouraged him to "look around" or not. For a junior with quick feet and size, to be offered by a number of Power5 schools and to lose out is a big deal.

Depends on which recruiting service you want to look at. Rivals has 3 Nebraska players that haven't been rated yet drawing them way down. Composite 24/7 has Nebraska ranked 24th and Iowa 30th. Eventually those three players will be ranked by Rivals.

If you are averaging 4 tackles a game in a poor 3A league in Iowa...then not so much. Probably a really good kid but I am sure the staff has something better on the hook or they wouldn't of cooled on him.

Iowa fans seem to have forgotten. Riley and his entire staff and strength coaching staff are gone. Frost and his entire staff DID develop NFL players from 3*s.
You guys are gonna miss HCMR so much. Better get used to beating NU once very 4 years again.
BTW Newsom backed off Iowa after visiting Lincoln 3 times in 5 weeks.
