I know, they said on either on the broadast or commercials leading up to the broadcast that it would be a random draw. I was prior to the event starting.That's because they announced it in advance and you are wrong.

Surprisingly big Cass not being able to ride Davison for very long. Good win for Cass but Davison is a gamer.
Which would support my claim of teasers leading up to the event. I can't remember if they said it on the actual broadcast or a teaser leading up to the event. I wish I could find a video clip, but it's been way too long ago. I know what I saw and heard bc I watched it with my cousin and we were both laughing about it being "random" and how if they wanted to end with that weight, they should just say it.

The article I posted is from the day before the tournament started. They announced before the tournament that it would be Dake vs Taylor as the last match. You are flat wrong.

Odd that they would have announced it Dake vs Taylor when the tournament hadn't even started yet.....
I remember watching a Bulls game with MJ in the mid-90s and the commentator saying something along the lines of "I hope these fans realize what they get to see here every night" and that's exactly how we should feel watching Spencer Lee take the mat at Carver.
I remember my friend and I talking at that tournament after they announced the finals weight would start at 174, "now watch one of Dake or Taylor lose before the finals and ruin their perfect storyline they already are running with"
This would be his path for the remaining duals assuming the starters go.
