It will be far from 50%, but it will be too many.
Fans show up for ISU.You sure? We are not really doing a great job of showing up for the guys team?
When your non-conference home schedule has been East Texas A&M, Southern, South Dakota, Rider, and USC Upstate they should literally be paying us to show up at Carver! You sure? We are not really doing a great job of showing up for the guys team?

Iowa State fans first have to find Iowa City. Maybe they'll just follow the team bus.Fans show up for ISU.
I'd say 70-30 this year.
First I’ve heard that it’s a blackout.

Go look at the ticket availability on the Iowa athletics website.Fans show up for ISU.

Sounds like a good fanbase! This is what apathy looks like.
4k tickets available for a top 5 IN STATE opponent.
A lot of people are no longer upset about Fran ball. They just don't care.
Yep. They're doing everything they can to direct the program to a better place!Sounds like a good fanbase!
I say we sacrifice all the 60+ yr old Iowa fans at the game by telling them all the ISU fans slept with their mothers and shot their dogs, so that we can see a bunch of senior citizen Iowa fans fighting all the Cyclone fans that decide to show up in our arena. It will be far from 50%, but it will be too many.
That would require taking time off work to leave early to get there from Ames/DSM area, I don't see that as plausible for many especially with kids.Amazed that ISU fans haven’t already snapped them up.
Never has been (see Andre Woolridge).Yep, me too. Had no idea. Marketing is not good for basketball.
This would be much better as a weekend game, but it’s been this way for a number of years, I think.

Eastern Iowa fans blow for b-ball.
Been saying that for the last decade.
Specifically talking about these cities & the surrounding areas when I say sucky Eastern Iowa fans: Iowa City (obviously), Cedar Rapids (double obviously), Dubuque, Waterloo, Muscatine, Bettendorf, Clinton, Cedar Falls, Ottumwa, & Davenport.
Hats off to Hawkeye fans in Des Moines & Sioux City though.
Lets face it, Carver is a lame atmosphere. I wouldn't waste $35 to go there! It’s actually kind of surprising how few ISU fans there ever are in Iowa City, even when they’re good. From my experience, a good Nebraska/Wisconsin football or Illini basketball team brings way more.
That’s too bad…I’ll be there with 3 others.
It’s listed on-line on Iowa website schedule.Yep, me too. Had no idea. Marketing is not good for basketball.
Good…we don’t need more iswho fans showing up. 🤮Game should have been a Saturday night. Would have sold out in a hurry.
It seems like people try and mess up things.
Stuff is expensive now. People dropping a lot of money want to make a day of it and enjoy it. Not leave work early, drive across the state, eat fast food, then drive back home, get to bed late and get up to go to work.
Iowa fans won’t be outnumbered tomorrow night. 😉It would but the truth is it doesn't matter how good we are at basketball. We were ranked as high as #3 and were a 3 seed in the tourney not that long ago. Iowa fans are becoming extremely fickle. I understand why some people don't want to go but there are more than enough people in the IC area and we will be outnumbered.
You guys show up for your team, we make excuses why we don't have to.
Good, we don’t need any fat ass isu fans stinking up the place.Let’s face it, Carver is a lame atmosphere. I wouldn't waste $35 to go there!
I will be there as well. That’s too bad…I’ll be there with 3 others.
