Maybe it was just me, but I watched both JR and SR year highlights and thought he looked noticeably faster in JR film.

Yeah after watching his senior film I definitely ain’t mad about the offer. Good size and He’s got another gear when he sees daylight... and if he can pick up blitzes like he pancakes when blocking then I’m all for it. Like some have mentioned we still have the flexibility of Bruce as well.
Im not surprised. He didn’t really grow up a fan of either team, but they really went all out for him. Sucks, but we have to move forward.
All depends on Tag. If he commits, Iowa will likely shut down LB’er recruiting.
If Iowa gets the kid from Harlan and Tag, this isn’t a big loss at all.
You only think they take one LB? I would be surprised by that. They don't have many scholarship LBs right now.
Bringing in Twedt, Sharar, Sullivan, and Harrell in 2021 and you already have Higgins, Campbell, Benson, and Jacobs all of whom have Sophomore or lower eligibility. If Tag commits first, they’d likely shut it down.
Is Tag for sure a LB? I know some thing he is going to be a DE. I know Bell is recruiting him.
The 2022 class may be one LB and done, but it also depends on the other positional group needs and how that shakes out the scholarship availability. Campbell and Benson could very well both earn 95% of all snaps at their respective positions the next 2-3 seasons, so the Iowa LB room could be just a couple hypothetical transfers away from perhaps incentivizing the need for 2 LBs in the 2022 class.
Looks like the kid really needs to add some weight. I guess he's got a couple years to do it.
sounds like they are in a good spot with this kid. In the top 3 with KSU and Nebraska. I think KSU is probably the biggest competition though. Would be a great pair of DEs in the class if they can nab him.
Those are some pretty big edge guys with Crawford and Graves.

He could play there but he's needed at dt. Iowa has a lot of young promising guys along the dl but you can't have too many.
Agree, DL is a much greater need and larger unknown for the foreseeable future.
Oh I think he’ll stay at DT, I just saw that if the staff wanted to make that switch, they very easily could.

And how good does he look? And is he our number 1 priority at that LB spot?
He’s been target number 1 for quite some time now. Doesn’t sound like that’s changing.
Crawford is downright nasty...he and Graves at de's down the road wow!!

Crawford is just one tough SOB. He’s so quick of the line but also violent when he gets engaged with the lineman.

So I was doing some poking around and I’ve got my predictions for the in-state class done and ready to go.
Nwankpa- He will be going out of state to a blue blood. I can’t see him staying here and it would be a miracle if he did.
Hunter Deyo- Iowa fan and loves Ferentz/Parker=Hawkeyes
Eli Raridon and Gabe Burkle- these guys are the top TE’s in the state currently. Iowa will get one and ISU will get the other. I’d say Burkle is likely the one Iowa will get, but we are also in a great spot for Raridon. I personally like Burkle more.
Spruceton Buddenhagen- Really nice looking tackle and he is an Iowa fan. Should we offer, it’s very likely an insta-commit.
Will McLaughlin- grew up a clone and it sounds like that’s the direction he’s headed. Hope the staff can do some work to flip him.
Jaxon Dailey- I have no clue what he’s going to do. My guess right now would be Michigan, but I am not really sure.
Corey Phillips- This will come down to us and ISU. Iowa likely wants him at DE and I’m not sure if ISU will offer. I personally like him a lot on the
D-line.
Dominic Wiseman- we need to offer and do it right now. This kid is a monster. His brother is currently at ISU so I have a feeling that could sway him one way or the other. I really badly want him.
Jahsiah Galven- If Iowa offers, he’s ours. He currently has one from Nebby.
