New offer out to class of '22 Ayomanor, a WR from the East Coast via Canada. Tevaun Smith was a role model to him. Wow, sign this kid up, reminds me A LOT of Tevaun, great physical stature already as a HS Jr.
Hell yeah. Tevaun Smith was a very good player for us, and I’d take another version of him.

I now think Kale Kogh gets an offer before Buddenhagen.
I think these are guys we have a realistic shot with. I think we’ll go after Krogh, but I personally like Buddenhagen better.

OK but I think we are in better position than many believe. Hinzman is not a native Wisconsin kid and his dad loves Iowa.
Iowa will be in it to the end with Nwankpa. Iowa - OSU battle is my guess. We'll see.
I like Buddenhagen too but that was before I heard of Krogh. I get the feeling we offer Krogh soon.
I sure hope so. It probably has to do with Foster leaving and the staff being honest about that with recruits.
I’d love to be wrong on Hinzman, just like I was with Davidkov. I just don’t think he’s a hawk.
I was told the Nwankpa ship has pretty much sailed. Not totally out of it but it's highly unlikely. OSU is going to be tough to beat. Sitting really well with Proctor (Procter)? though ( I know he's next class). Sounds like Dailey will probably go MAC or ISU.
We don’t even want Dailey. I think we will likely go after the kid out of Omaha (Think that’s where he’s from). Allar is likely going to go to a Penn State or Washington.
Oh I know we don't want him. I just thought I'd throw him in there for anyone interested about him.
Sure would be nice if they identified and offered a couple running backs or announced a new coach atleast.
They need to jump on that badly. I really like the idea of Ladell Betts being the next potential RB coach.
I would think a good quality recruiter is needed there and bad. There is no business in us missing out on 4* RBs every other year with the OL we pull.
I agree. I think Betts would be perfect in this role, because he was a former NFL player, and he knows how to play the position. Would be the perfect scenario IMO.
For some reason I was thinking it was the weekend before last the D.Foster news broke, apparently it will be one week tmrw which isn't bad at all. One would think this is a vital time of year to be fully staffed though, and I pray they already had a couple guys targeted.
Agreed. With the OL the program pumps out we could land a 4 star about every year.

Or are you thinking about Caden Becker, QB from Omaha Skutt? If so, as I posted before, Iowa will need to tread lightly here and do their due diligence, lots of "me first" stories out there and family is overbearing from what I've been told by my Omaha sports connections and friends.

Sounds like his trepidation from the former players' case has passed, and we're sitting very well with him again.
Is he a lifelong Husker fan? Will be interesting. Sometimes guys can see past their fandom and make the smart choice for their NFL hopes, sometimes they can't. See Fidone. Great that this guy is visiting IC, hope we land him.
