* I have made it clear Trump is not fit for office AND that I can't stand either party AND I am for ranked choice voting (RCV), which would encourage 3rd party candidates to run. No candidate wins an election until they get 50% plus 1 of the vote.

Any Republican still backing Trump supports the J6 crowd. There is no getting around that. You can’t divorce Trump from what happened and what he did and didn’t do on that day.

Which vote? There are 51 separate elections on Election Day. Those elections are controlled by the individual states and DC. Are all of them going with RCV? And what happens with the unlikely situation where no one wins 270 EC votes? Does the House use RCV LOL? Where your third party has precisely ZERO presence?
Your third party candidate CAN NOT WIN. I have no idea why that doesn’t sink in. And given the previous outcomes where third party candidates affected elections, they almost invariably cost the candidate with whom they shared the most values the election.
Where they didn’t affect the outcome, the results were still the same as when they did…absolutely no impact on policy. Why? Because they have nothing other than a sacrificial lamb for a presidential candidate and they pour resources into that rather than getting representatives and senators elected. Or governors. Or mayors. Or f’n town council members.
Third parties in this country are a J-O-K-E.
