Did Florida State end up completing the comeback?
I missed it as K-State-Iowa State in the snow was far more entertaining.

All reasonable points. At the end of the day, he hit the qb in the head. Can't do that.it does matter, and for the items you listed. There are requirements for roughing the passer, and those weren’t met (hit after throw, body slam/full weight, forcible hit to head or neck). You even agree they weren’t met. If that’s forcible contact, then we need to get stop playing this game, because that type of contact happens multiple times in every game played. The refs had time to discuss/collect themselves, and announced PF with no number…sloppy work at best, incompetent being most likely. It’s an assumption it’s the contact to head, because they gave us nothing to go off of.

That's awesome. Hawkeye boosters could compile a list of Iowa's Top 10 plays, but who wants to see a bunch of clips of the punter?
Then call a blow to the head penalty. All reasonable points. At the end of the day, he hit the qb in the head. Can't do that.
FifyThen call a blow to the head penalty.
Defenders blitzing a qb have a few things to process. Sack the qb, if you can’t then bat the ball down, don’t lead with your head or drive him to the ground, or take out his knees or hit the qb in the head. Sometimes a little common sense needs to be called because there was nothing excessive going on there.
This is also coming from someone who doesn’t like the late slide which can “bait” targeting. Tates was a late slide but when 2 guys are leading in like that it’s hard not to call it especially when there’s a targeting rule they have to enforce.
It is a new rule this year. We’ve been warned at least one time in a prior game.
Back in my day, we simply called that a sack.
Not sure/ can’t remember/don’t have a link. Did you ever find out?Did Florida State end up completing the comeback?

You did not see the QBs head react to the contact. No real contact. Incidental at best.Fify
That is freakin' hilarious.
This was the roughing the passer call against Iowa last week...
Your guy hit the QB in the head...
Good analysis. It was a football play. Not a foul. This very bad call is now part of a training video
It is my sincerest hope that this hit is enshrined henceforth in mandatory annual NCAA referee training, just to share forever this gator QB getting blown up.Not a foul. This very bad call is now part of a training video
