Team is fine and they're an NCAA tourney caliber team. They just have a coach that's so stubborn he won't play the lineups that will allow them to win.this team is a joke with a joke of a coach.
I never thought I’d agree with Andy Katz when it came to analysis of our coaching. He’s even dumbfounded at Iowa’s approach in overtimethis team is a joke with a joke of a coach.
PSU beat Indiana at home.Just like Rutgers we find a way to lose to lesser teams
Or do the most obvious things to help your team win like not foul up 3 with game on the line and not bench JBlowTeam is fine and they're an NCAA tourney caliber team. They just have a coach that's so stubborn he won't play the lineups that will allow them to win.
Who's fault is that?No one can hit a shot when it matters most. Good effort but your best and most experienced players have to come through when it counts.
Because Patrick thinks he's good and Iowa has a bunch of guys who can't beat anyone.Katz- "he needed to touch the ball on some of these other possessions."
I had to listen to most of this game, so I couldn't tell, but it sounded like we had a ton of possessions where two guys touched the ball, none named Keegan Murray, and then we forced up a tough shot.........
Why?
To me, it's Fran's fault. You put Joe T in and you get better looks on offense. Part of the reason the shots didn't go in is because they were tough shots. Additionally, you get a HUGE upgrade on defense.Who's fault is that?
Those were some if the worst possessions I've ever seen.Just horrible last popossessions
I think it's safe to say Keegan and Kris will be back next year. If PSU can take him out of the game, he is not ready for NBA. Granted, he is playing on a team that would not win the Summit League, so there's that.Keegan is awful tonight. What a wasted opportunity
There are 2 absolute travels (when he makes his initial move, and changing of the pivot), and possibly a third in that sequence.
