Team is fine and they're an NCAA tourney caliber team. They just have a coach that's so stubborn he won't play the lineups that will allow them to win.

I never thought I’d agree with Andy Katz when it came to analysis of our coaching. He’s even dumbfounded at Iowa’s approach in overtime
No one can hit a shot when it matters most. Good effort but your best and most experienced players have to come through when it counts.

I had to listen to most of this game, so I couldn't tell, but it sounded like we had a ton of possessions where two guys touched the ball, none named Keegan Murray, and then we forced up a tough shot.........

No players get rewarded for good play. They ride the bench after a game season high. When they put up a big zero on field goals, they keep playing starter minutes. He is creating no incentives. How hard can this be to see this isn’t a winning formula

Welp. NIT it is. I guess this is how I figured it would be when you try to play with nobody that can rebound. At least Kris Murray has looked good this year.
To me, it's Fran's fault. You put Joe T in and you get better looks on offense. Part of the reason the shots didn't go in is because they were tough shots. Additionally, you get a HUGE upgrade on defense.
I totally forgot Iowa was even playing tonight. Looks like I dodged a bullet.
Those were some if the worst possessions I've ever seen.
The one whete Ulis purposely dribbled the clock down to get Patrick a shot? What on earth was that?

I think it's safe to say Keegan and Kris will be back next year. If PSU can take him out of the game, he is not ready for NBA. Granted, he is playing on a team that would not win the Summit League, so there's that.
There are 2 absolute travels (when he makes his initial move, and changing of the pivot), and possibly a third in that sequence.
