I really thought we were done, props to the men for never giving up. Great win considering how bad we played the first 35 minutes and our three shooting.
I guess because the guy wasn’t looking directly at Luka but you could tell, the downward force the guy used was for no other reason than to deck Luka. That’s what it looked like to me.

Well put. Both games leading up to tonight. Nothing but respect for the teams we played. And VERY entertaining games. That I think multiple posters said they enjoyed...no matter what the outcome was going to be.
Then in comes Wisconsin with their dirty basketball and we get to enjoy a rotten grab, flop, smack, poke, trip, cry fest.
Not game I have any desire to watch again. Just happy we won and no injuries.

Hummel made a good point when he said Iowa's defense has to travel with them on the road. If that happens we may contend with others near the top.

He's had some good games as a Hawk, but tonite...Iowa won in spite of Conner, not because of him.
It looks like Connor is doing a Fadeway on his 3-pt shots. He's never going to be consistent shooter with that style.

His stats in the last three games are atrocious. He's really struggling on offense, but he's a decent FT shooter, so I can see him being in games at the end.
Fortunately for him, Bakari has had a rough time of it, too.
It was not Connor's best performance, in fact, an over all sloppy game by him. He still battled though, which I respect the hell out of.

Sat next to a couple of WI douchers, which one was wearing a Packers Tshirt. They got kind of mouthy after halftime and were mocking the crowd. They were both a little quiet starting around the 6 or 7 minute mark. Packers shirt could see the Hawkeye run coming.
Fran and Bobby both said it was extremely loud after Fredrick’s three. Fran said that may have been the loudest he’s heard CHA. The place was rocking from there on out. Great game for such a bad game.

The replay (showed in the giant monitors in the arena) showed Reivers smacking Luka's face while the ball was going a different direction. The ONLY explanation would be thst Reivers was trying to gain an advantage by whacking Luka, thus it had to be intentional. It was above the shoulders so why in the hell wasn't that at least a flagrant 1? No reason thst wasn't called. I wonder what the B10 office would say about that? Hell, they even reviewed it.
Davison has been playing this dirty style of ball since joining the league, and he becomes particularly dangerous when the Badgers are in a position of needing to force something to happen in their favor,.. What's been really frustrating is how often the officials get duped by this kid, knowing full well his history... Oh, and did you know that Brad played quarterback in high school?,... phuck that punk.
