Luka back into form so far. Tough couple of fouls for Weezy and Nunge saddled them big time. JBo is pressing for his last game in the arena he really wanted to play in.
IA should be up a lot more. WI is way overrated based at least on this half of basketball.
I look for IA to win this second half comfortably.

That was dumb. I guess with JT I see more the positives he brings. With thay one play I doubt we see him rest of game. I don't agree with it. But I would be surprised if he comes back next year

Wisconsin was trying to foul at the end. Iowa did well to get that 3 off by CJF as Wisconsin had 5 fouls in the half (one to give).
what’s really weird to me is that JT and pmac seem to have a great connection on the court. You would think Fran would like that and play him more.
Well he did have his boy running the show. Yes, CJ over Jbo was the smart move
JBo other than his mini hot streak doesn't seem to be shooting well this season. In past years, with a widen open 3pt shot, he would make maybe 60 percent. This year, it is crapshoot.
All in all a decent half. Little loose with the ball. Happy with the defensive effort tonight and hopefully Bucky will continue to throw up bricks. Trice eerily silent as well.

So, Wisky only had 4 fouls in the first half, before 'intentionally' giving away 2, and no turnovers.... and should have been down (at least) 15 at the half??
Wow. They are no bueno. Like I said a day or two ago, Wisconsin's offensive style is not built for hanging with an elite offensive team like Iowa. Unless Iowa is having a horrible shooting night, they ain't got a chance (aside from the officiating help).

Wisconsin guy pushed JT out of bound with his legs...JoeT not experienced enough to avoid it. JoeT played well...probably four or five turnovers attempting to feed garza or garza losing the ball.

Yep. Bohannon made a pass to Garza and two others for 3. Joe T beat his guy off the dribble and split two defenders with a bounce pass to a cutting P Mac. Bohannon has also played way more minutes.
Minute comparison of the 2. JBO isn’t looking comfortable at the point this 1st half.
I have noticed that they are not calling shooting fouls when Iowa has the ball. PMac got hammered on his layup with nothing called. Luka has been hammered several times.
Fun fact, Joe T averages 2.2 more assists than JBo per 100 possessions, and that's while usually playing without Garza and other superior talent that JBo has around him.
And Luka hacked, pounded, and shoved any time he had the ball down low.
No FTAs. That is so lol-worthy, but also completely not unexpected from an officiating crew with Little Larry (& McJunkins) on it.
