This is not heartening for my hopes of Iowa finishing well, both during conference play and after.
This lineup has done a great job of turning defense into offense - a stark contrast from the other group which can score but doesn’t play defense. Gotta make free throws
We lose because of free throws and offensive rebounds. We’re picking different ways to lose games this year. I like it. Mix it up a bit
I’ll take a one week break from the boards if we win this game.. please god
Fran will go back to the starters soon and that will usher in a scoring drought combined with MSU surge to win the game. Connor and Jbo on the floor together = field goal drought.
Free throws...rebounding...leaving wide open guys....pretty much sums it up why this is even close
Not sure the other group can score. CJ 0. Jbo 3. Connor 2. Joe T. has outscored them combined.
And who's an aggressive defender. Sparty scored at will with Bohannon and Connor on the floor. CJ is normally a decent defender, but he looks like he's still hurting.
This really isn't rocket science.
you do realize this lineup is probably like +15 for the game where the starting 5 except for luka are probably a -20 for the game.
Why were still leaving the corner wide open is beyond me.. you know MSU is gonna splash 2-3 huge corner 3s down the stretch..
I was thinking Woolridge? Obviously not the same skillset. I must be missing someone.
He's not the "last", but there's another one on the roster in Ahron Ulis.
Maybe not as quick, but just as athletic (IMO).
A 1, 2 and 3 who can't create their own shots and don't score is a problem. I agree, he is only 1/3 of the problem.
