Well, Wisconsin pretty much has the West wrapped up. Time to hopefully play spoiler a few times this year. Maybe squeak into the Motor City Bowl!

I'd have to say that's a real stretch at this point.
For a coach that preaches consistently and staying even keel. He has crazy swings in the performance of his teams. Did we lose every player from last year?
So the B1G West favorites going into the season have lost to North Dakota State and an inept Northwestern team at home, the wheels have officially come off of Ferentz's wagon.

King has to be wondering why he's not playing tomorrow. Hats off to him for getting his degree, but what a disappointing senior season for him. And I now have little doubt that it's only going to get worse.
I must say I was wrong. Thought NDSU was more of an off day than an indication of how bad this team is. Sadly, it's just been more of the same. I think we're looking at a .500 season -- 7-5 at best.
The national media will have a good time labeling Iowa one of the season's biggest disappointments. 12-0 to flat-out ugly. . . and still not all that tough of a schedule.

I was afraid of this. I wondered early this year how far he would drop with a Zero interception year and relatively few pass break-ups. He'll still go early second round.
I still think we win one of those. Going to WI, so I hope that's the one. Lesser teams upset better rivals all the time. I think it's clear WI is far better, but we can upset them, no doubt. We're bound to play a good game one of these Saturdays.
Hayden was decent enough to retire after one mediocre and one bad season...KF just keeps bringing his family in...and barta makes sure Kirks retirement is always taken care off
You'd hope the scouts would know enough to realize that opposing teams aren't throwing his way. A repeat Thorpe award seems like pretty much an impossibility, but hopefully his draft stock doesn't fall too far.
