**Official Okie State PBP thread**

I didn't ask you if I thought you did - I asked you why you thought and/or assumed - to paraphrase - that AJ would have improved by knocking the rust off, but Glazier couldn't have seen development strides in the last several months. Competition that means something is relatively new to Glazier, so quicker than usual improvement is not out of the question. And by the way, confidence is an ability.

By the way, how the F does anyone know how good he was? He has been the back up to high level All American for what, four years. I did ask you that question before.
Come on, man. You LITERALLY used the phrase, "Don't you think?" By exact definition that is asking me if I thought he did.

Either way you want to interpret it, my answer still stands. I do not think his actual wrestling has significantly improved. I didn't see anything different in that OKState match from the matches he wrestled at the Soldier Salute.

But, I do think it is possible that his mindset and overall confidence has improved some. He may very weil have believed he could do what he has done going into the year. But, his success so far MAY have helped bolster that confidence...

I notice how you continue to avoid the one question I actually did pose to you - How do you know how good he was, as a base to measure any improvement, since his spot was taken by a muti-year All American for four years?

And the "don't you think" was a rhetorical question. You know - to make a point. Hardly an exact definition of asking you what you thought. Come on, man! Be better.

Seriously? Go back and read. In multiple posts I said I am SURE has has improved since he first walked into the room. How do I know? I watched him wrestle a few matches in high school and I have watched him this season. That high schooler wouldn’t sniff this version’s male parts holder…

Also, it’s kind of hard for anyone to know that type of question in that type of response was rhetorical. Shame on me for not seeing it as such. I will try to do better and more accurately guess what you mean when you use question marks!

Thank you - much appreciated! Then if it's that hard to decipher, next time don't assume.

And because you are getting all worked up you have failed to see and address my main point. Not that he has improved over his time in the room, but in fact this season. Who cares what he looked like in high school. Five freakin years ago. Great strides can be made when you finally get your shot and have competitive matches that mean something. Riddle me this - why is he the only one who has held Brooks to a regular decision this year? That was an actual question.

Sheesh, you really bounce all over the place. I already answered that last question as well. I clearly said that I saw nothing significant to suggest his wrestling improved or even changed at all between the salute and the match this weekend…

Oh, and don’t assume a 2nd sentence question is a question, when it is the last sentence of a 2 sentence response? Man, that would basically make responding on here impossible…

No you never did answer my question about Warner being ahead of him so nice try. You avoided that by continual deflection. You can try to be smart ass word smithy and create false scenerios all you want - you're not fooling anyone.

I think yesterday's dual just reaffirmed how incredibly weak the Big12 is, as a whole.

The Cowboys piss pounded Missouri and beat ISU decisively.
compared to the 10's yeah, but they have their fare share of title contenders and just like our match with Mich I don't believe one match is indicative of what could happen in March.

Honestly, after everything you have typed so far, I LITERALLY have no idea what you are asking me or even if it is rhetorical…

Glazier has improved since the SS.

So, you have witnessed the splendor of the yellow bellied unicorn with a rainbow mane as well? No fair…

I hope by the NCAAs, you have to eat some crow on this...not necessarily cause I think you are wrong about Glazier's ranking but because that means he had a damn good tourney.

Having a shit take and someone else countering with a shit take doesn’t necessarily validate your shit take. Not sure you knew that.

Only if that shit take was actually in response to a shit take. Considering it was a response to my take, and my takes are never shit takes, your take must be a shit take. Not sure you knew that.

You're still arguing with some opinions on Glazier vs Ferrari and stuff? LOLOLOL Here's another one, could Hulk beat Superman in a fight?

One reason I knew Glazier had potential is from reports from the room and the fact that he beat Warner in a wrestle off one year.

Thanks, Spooner! I think? I've watched some wrestling over the years and based on my observations (shit take) it's my opinion that he's improved since the middle of the season. Subtle things. Composure, maybe a little more confidence, execution. I try to notice more than the outcome. Probably my issue. I'll work on that.

Edit: To MSU. You have written way more words here than I ever will. So I think I need to tell you and your legend status that I completely agree with Glazier's current ranking. No argument at all. No reason for it to be anything else. Just noting that in my (shit take) opinion he has improved not only throughout his time at Iowa, but progressively through this season as well.

We don’t actually disagree on much and I wasn’t the one calling your take a “shit take”. My response was simply a very smart ass response directed at the KING of smart ass responses.

I have already said I am sure his confidence/composure has been bolstered throughout the season. However, execution, eh…. I promise you I watch nuances in matches as closely as anyone. Throughout the season I have basically watched the same techniques, tendencies and execution. He grinds hard and makes you fight from the first whistle to the very last.

One thing I will say is he hasn’t really wrestled a true litmus test for AA status. If he is able to scramble through attacks from the top 10 guys like he has against mainly mediocre competition so far, then I would be more apt to agree that the confidence has led to actual improvement on the mat this season.
