They won't apologize for it, but when they got that last 1st down on their previous drive, they continued to pass.Purdue 71 yards rushing is the difference here
cannot drain the clock
If Purdont had a shred of a run game this would be over. Entertaining but still
Continuing to play that way when you don't need to is the odd thing. They could have milked the clock the last few possessions and didn't. Conservatism gets criticized a lot but it works in your favor sometimes. This is the downside of the Purdue style. Can’t lock down clock when you need to and now PSU not only got the ball back, but they saved timeouts as well.
This kind of offense just wouldn’t complement our defense, guys.
15 and 16 are going to be tough for the Hawks this year....#15 again
Our D is not built for PU’s offense15 and 16 are going to be tough for the Hawks this year....
For sure, I’m just being cheeky and piling on the poop-on-our-offense party.Well... You could choose to run the ball just a couple of times
One thing is clear, O’Connell is one of the best QBs in the conference and Clifford likely one of the worst.
