It’s quite common for kids the first time they move away from home. 4-6 month range is when it hits a lot of them.

Eickholt and a few other 247Sports guys have crystal balled him to Iowa. Cory Brada from The Hawkeye of the Storm has said that his source confirms that Proctor wants to come back to Iowa and it would surprise him if he were to go anywhere else at this point.
You shouldn't use words like "us",.. makes it sound like you have friends.
Totally agree,.. If he comes back to Iowa it will be primarily because he's homesick and the OC's name won't matter,.. If he's concerned about money & wins he'd just stay at Alabama.

It might be because of who won’t be the offensive coordinator in 2024 though.
Remember, although there were fans that took shots at the young man and his family. Kirk and the staff took the high road with the young man. Hope he does decide to be a Hawk, he would be a huge boost to the offensive line.
To anyone bashing Iowa fans for being upset when he went to BAMA...really? The #1 kid in your state, 5* that had been committed for quite a while, in a position of great need, switches basically on signing day. Of course Iowa fans were not going to be very happy. I don't think the transfer portal entry has become official. Same thing with Downs from Bama. The later stating he was going to make a decision within 48 hours of entering the portal. I think there is paper work, so that probably holds things up.
