That's up there among the worst ****ing calls I've ever seen in my life. Had a takedown and had PSU 125 on his back. Egregiously bad reffing.

Reminded me of Kemerer beating Starocci and yet they still didn't give him the win. Both wrestlers knew it, both coaches knew it, and the replay showed it, but they didn't change the incorrect call.

The officials should not be allowed to review their own shitty calls. Get a review official or something.

why did referees start having such problems with reaction time? they can’t figure it out this year.
If the ref can't see that was a takedown, they have no ****ing business reffing the sport of wrestling. Not only did OSU have a takedown, he also should've been getting swipes for nearfall. It was obvious in real time and even more obvious on replay. Absurd that they got that wrong. Have to question whether they have money on this with that egregious of a call.

I agree tbh. If refs miss calls that badly, there's no point in treating the event as a serious competition. There needs to be consequences and accountability for that severe of a mistake.
I don't even know how I could justify that as a mistake. That's rigged.
officials have melted their own brains at this point. so obsessed with making their jobs easier with situational rules that they no longer are able to make easy calls.

Poor PSU, having to suffer at 149 with a top 6 pfp freshman who just rag dolled the number 9 guy who is a senior.
The most egregious call so far, is from Gibbons about Angel.
