I know we all have high expectations for our Hawkeyes. The reality is that they did play to their ability level this year. We did not have great talent, we had good talent. We fans probably put unrealistic expectations on them. We were an average team with the ability to play above that level when everything clicked. You could say that about most teams. I always wish for best for the Hawks but the truth is that we have a good team that tries hard. It would be great to someday have an elite rim protector or a freakish athlete, but there’s a lot of competition for them. Keep supporting our guys and hope for the best.
