The FACTS of his career would beg to differ. JBo has been clutch from three from the time he was a freshman when, among other feats, he hit a last-second three to beat Wisconsin in Madison. The Press-Citizen listed all his clutch plays a few days ago. You should go back and read it. Criticism is fine, but it should be based on reality.

Played our worst half of basketball in a month and a half, and still down only one point. Just need to get a thing or two on track and everything else will fall into place.
Yep. It’s so damn hard being a Iowa fan. Just when you start to buy in they will rip your heart out. We don’t want much. All Iowa fans ask is for ONE sweet16 appearance every quarter century. Not Championship just second weekend.

Well, I have officially cracked a cold one….gotta get the Hawks going.
I said before, those rims are NOT loose. Ball even smells the rim it doinks off into the ozone.
Kris, Sandfort, and PMac would be my picks. Kris and Sandy had open looks from 3 but missed them. PMac had good flashes early and then started forcing shots. If Kris and Sandfort make a couple threes and PMac settles down and plays smart, Richmond has no answer. Can't guard that size on the perimeter.
There's 5 seeds....and then there's 5 seeds that just won the tournament of what many consider the best conference in America, with a consensus All-American POY candidate who dozens of "experts" picked to go to the Elite 8 or Final Four. THOSE 5 seeds are few and far between and provide a BIT more motivation than the typical 5.
As bad as the team was in the first half, they're just down 1. That's the good news. Don't think they could play much worse. But, that's my fear right now. That this turns into a game-long malaise.

That’s just because you look at it that way. Did you “buy in” after Rutgers or Indy last weekend? They then did not “rip your heart out” against Purdue.
Burton has these refs in his pocket and refs in Ncaa love the flop....
and you can't effing be so lazy/careless to let your arm hit the 3pt shooter after the ball has been released....that was stupid play by Perkins.
Offensively, I think Perkins can score on these guys...let him get in lane and use his short game....unfortunately, doesn't look like anybody is hitting 3pt shots.
I would not be surprised if Iowa loses this game. It will be biggest choke since Alford team collapsed vs NW Lousiana St.
