In contemporary basketball, it's common to see a team--a good team--score in the 20s in one half and the 40s or 50s the next. This first half today is just one more of hundreds of examples.
Michigan was down by 15 at one time today and won by 12.
Richmond's defense has been nothing great, certainly nothing Iowa hasn't seen before. Most of Iowa's shots have been open. They're simply missing. It's more than likely Iowa heats up big time in the second half and rolls to an easy win. Do that and nobody will remember this ugly first half.
BTW: Always a good idea to play NCAA games in a hockey arena. Keegan and JBo have gone down for the first times all season, and Keegan nearly turned an ankle. But at least Joe T was staying on his feet.
