SI article on Frost

Lol nothing funnier than a holier than thou hawk fan talking smack against a Blue Blood storied program. Wish Oklahoma-Nebraska was still a Black Friday game. 2storied programs a day after Thanksgiving. That’s football
17 years w/o a top 10 finish? that blue blood card was revoked a while ago chief......

Your fear is why I’m here. You Iowa fans have got to be the most ignorant college football fans in the world, nay, the universe.

You seriously just went "nay"? Thanks Diane Chambers.

Interesting, hawk fans are both poor losers and poor winners. I had never known a fan base to excel at both of those until I met Iowa fans. Karma will keep you sad sacks rooting for an 7-6 team for eternity. Enjoy.
Sure has been enjoyable kicking the snot out of you the last few years. I expect more of the same...I just wish for a little better competition tho..games are boring when they are over in the 1st half.

Talk about a fanbase that deserves what they are getting.....

It's really kind of sad. Nebraska fans have been wonderful in person every time I've ever been to their stadium. But their internet fans are downright putrid.

In their defense, they've had to be nice to me in person. We've kicked their ass every time I've been to their stadium.

To be fair...this guy @H8FULLGR8 constitutes most of the Nebraska posters here. He/she has like 5 different handles here in this topic alone.

I hate to judge their internet presence by this stolen valor life loser but, yeah, pretty putrid.

Oddly some of the funnest guys to tailgate with, in my experience, have been Buckeyes...even back to the Hineygate days.

So let me get this straight, the Dominos Pizza Noid shows up talking shit, he gets demolished and then proceeds to beg the Mods to make it stop. Am I getting this right?

lmfao, I have seen it all now.

Correct. He also stated he changed his handle to "You've been owned" so when he likes a post, it ends up saying we've "been owned".

I know.

The cheese has slipped off this losers cracker years ago.

Oh and before I forget...did you happen to know he's a military operator AND a member of the Strategic Air Command? Yeah, and his wife is 5'8 and 120 pounds so he's got a real Jason Bourne/covert operative thing going on.

You can find that and more under @H8FULLGR8 on the CFB and his other 15 handles here. He follows me so I know what an obsessed creep this guy is.

On Iowa.

Proselytism/ˈprɒsəlɪˌtɪzəm/ is the act of attempting to convert people to another religion or opinion.
Get use to it from Husker Cult Nation. There's just an insanely high percentage of them that can't sleep at night knowing someone doesn't worship everything Nebraska. As much as I'd like to see domestic abuse and assaults nosedive in Nebraska(despite the program related rise), them winning will bring an infestation of these locusts across social media! The state's sales of hand lotion and keyboards are already at record highs! I'm not going to get to concerned until after the 4th or 5th player arrest, but we already know humiliating them by 42 in Lincoln has no effect on their arrogance.

Triggered////popular and well known definition* triggered is when someone gets offended or gets their feelings hurt, often used in memes to describe feminist, or people with strong victimization.

The words in bold apply to 90% of this board.

Triggered defines you @H8FULLGR8, 90 percent of the time. The other 10 percent is stupid but I digress.
TRIGGER WARNING!!

I haven't seen him walk on water yet, but I hear there is video. If he can secure the 21st class in the nation in 2 months, while working part-time in Lincoln, I'm pretty sure he can almost always secure a Top 25 class when he and his staff are working full-time.
There u go talking bout “crootin”...still won’t translate into more wins for nebby.

Like I said, maybe we will never get there or even close but that’s still better then not trying and accepting mediocrity. Can you at least admit that’s what Iowa has basically done by just riding ferentz for a lifetime? I just think it would be ungodly frustrating giving a guy a generational type of money and knowing you will never win anything of consequence. At least with us we will try.
Wasn’t Iowa 12-0 a few years ago? I assume they don’t go into every season just hoping to be 8-4. Do you think so?

I think Black Heart Gold Pants summed up the the red situation.

"Oh, and Nebraska can sell all the damn tickets they want to a “spring game,” they’re still a bunch of has-beens who have lost four of the last five, including three straight to the Hawkeyes and they’re vaunted black shirts have given up nearly 100 points in the last two meetings against Iowa’s offense.

They are our new little brother."

Serious question (or maybe not) who was that poster a few years back who was a football all-american; self made uber-rich guy AND thrice decorated war veteran from WW2; Korea & Nam.

He was legendary, not Mulva legendary but he was up there with the best.

I love it when there's a fresh dusting of hope in Lincoln. And I love that their biggest problem has been defense, and their solution is a coach who's an absolute joke when it comes to defense. We might put 80 up on them this coming season.

Last time I checked that coach had a team that went undefeated. Am I missing something? And 'that team' lead the nation in defensive turnovers if I'm not mistaken. Plus, they defended against a respectable Auburn offense in the Playoffs, the same Auburn offense that put the hurt on Alabama. Pretty remarkable feat IMO.

If you dislike guy that is fine but what a ridiculous statement.

Total Defense - #93
Scoring Defense - #52
Rushing Defense - #59
Passing Defense - #115
Red Zone Defense - #79
Pass Efficiency Defense - #56

All of this while playing the #72 SOS. I guess we define "remarkable" differently.

My point was you say ridiculous things. Mission accomplished!

I found a few more:

Total Defense - #93
Scoring Defense - #52
Rushing Defense - #59
Passing Defense - #115
Red Zone Defense - #79
Pass Efficiency Defense - #56
Team Sacks - #62
Tackles for Loss - #67

All of this while playing the #72 SOS. But right, he's a defensive whiz.

Yep, he is actually...UCF was undefeated.

UCF faced top 10 ranked offenses in Memphis and South Florida. They played Memphis twice . Played four teams in the top 25 and AGAIN beat a highly ranked Auburn team in the Peach Bowl. Btw - Frost played defense for 5 years in the NFL.

Scott Frost won six Coach of the Year awards last year:
-Associated Press COOY
-Paul "Bear" Bryant
-AAC COOY
-Eddie Robinson COOY
-AFCA COOY
-Home Depot COOY
-FCA COOY

Apparently these awards have no bearing on logic. Frost coached a Heisman Award winner (Mariota). Was a finalist for the Broyles Award, as a top assistant coach at Oregon. As Oregon's OC his record was 33-7.

But go ahead and keep talking about UCF's SOS and worthless stats. Even Ferentz has said that it really only matters who has the most points at the end of the game.

Awesome. He just sucks at defense. Nice effort on this though.

So I’m putting you on the record as saying that Scott Flop holds Iowa under 100 points this year. You better be back here this Nov if Iowa puts up triple digits against Flop.

This is all silly. Scott Frost has proven he is a very good coach, both as an assistant and as a head coach. Now when and how he effects the Big 10 will be the question. I am of the opinion that the whole conference is getting better. Fun times ahead!
