So, do we want MSU or Purdue?

I don’t want to have to play Purdue only because of the homecourt advantage they would have.
Good point. Thank goodness the Hawkeyes didn't have to deal with that today . . . :)

The Purdue crowd would be much less of a problem than pro-Purdue officiating and, as you know, the two often go hand-in-hand. But it's gonna be Purdue, no matter anyone's preference, and the Hawkeyes owe them. So bring 'em on. What better way to win the BIG Tourney and move up to a #4 seed than to take down top-ten PU in a virtual home game for them?

Between pro-Purdue officiating and pro-MSU officiating, I'll take pro-Purdue every time.

Whoever wins, I just want it to go 4 OT's, and wear the hell out of both teams!

This is what I don't like about holding in Indiana. Home court advantage for 2 BIG teams. When are they going to host in Des Moines? Has the tourney ever been held anywhere else beside Chicago or Indie?

Both DC and NYC. Had it at Madison Square Garden a week early a few years ago.

I can't ever see it being held in Des Moines. That's why I prefer Chicago. No home advantage for anyone except NW and they usually aren't in the mix. That and the fact that it's only a 30-45 minute drive for me. :)

Honestly match up wise and support wise agree on Purdue however that bastard Izzo is a force to be reckoned with come tourney time.

I wouldn't mind if they had it in MSP sometime, especially while Minnesota is down. Would probably see a lot of Iowa fans there.
