Why don’t Dems care that the supposedly independent media are completely and totally beholden to one political party? Is this healthy? Is it safe to assume these colluding parties will safeguard our rights and liberties? When these same media outlets directly and indirectly attack the very thing that does the safeguarding?

1. Donald Trump has made numerous comments and taken actions adverse to Free Speech. (He’d like more restrictive defamation laws, political retribution against people speaking negatively about him [Michael Cohen], efforts to punish adverse press)
2. Trump had Homeland Security pick up and detain suspected protesters. They weren’t formally arrested or charged with anything. He’s also praised extrajudicial police killings. He doesn’t care about 4th or 5th Amendment protections, except as applied to him. Just look at his judicial appointments.
3. Trump directly controls the Republican Party and their campaign financing. He enforces his will be actively trying to removing opposing voices in the Party. There is no world where a Republican Congress would impeach, convict, and remove him.
4. Everything related to this point was horseshit. Maybe start with the gerrymandering or voter disenfranchisement.
