No hate. Cade is not very good. Not sure if Sullian is any better. QB room has been terrible ever since Stanley graduated.
This honestly doesn't bother me much. Kirk has been a great coach, but maybe a poor season will spell the end.

He's doing what he's told to do. Running the ball vs prevent defense has about has much chance of scoring as taking a knee. If our Div1 QB can't throw a ball into end zone from 50 then he doesn't have much of an arm. I don't know if Sullivan is any good but Cade doesn't bring much to table in terms of accuracy, legs, arm strength.
Two words. Offensive line. Trade QB’s and have them play behind the other teams offensive lines and Iowa would still be behind.

With the limited time left it is the perfect time to take a chance down field. Particularly on the second to last play. If they get a PI they are in fg position. Or they make a catch and get a TO. Or they throw an interception that most likely results in no consequences. There probably wasn't anyone open but you take the chance because of the time situation.
