Just going to say it, Deacon would have Iowa up at half. **** Cade sucks
Guess I chose the right time to turn off the game. Sounds like Minnesota is manhandling us on both sides. If we lose, the season is over.

I’d actually like to see them go 2-10 in order to hasten KF’s retirement.
Here's what Iowa is faced with:
They can only effectively run the ball.
Minnesota obviously adjusts and loads the box, similar to Iowa State.
Conventional wisdom says you can exploit this with the pass then, but not Iowa.
Because when we do pass A. our fat linemen can't handle the pressure B. our broken down QB can only throw from the pocket and typically has to chuck it early and when he can't even see who he's throwing it to, and C. our garbage ass routes continue to be garbage ass under the ex-Wisconsin turd Butt Mayor.
So basically Minnesota will just continue to load the box and expect that Iowa will not burn them with the pass, and not be able to run against their stacked boxes and coast to an easy 2nd half victory.
That's what Iowa is faced with, and of course, you have to assumed our 25 year veteran head coach KNOWS ALL OF THIS..................and just keeps doing only what he knows how to do.

While obviously the game is not over, but I think KF has become to accustom that the def will only give up 10pts a game. The def so far is #5 in def eff and the off while the numbers look better are just 98th in off eff. It's great we have won so many games over the last few years with how crappy the off has been but it is an extreme anomaly. Even if the def plays great but not elite iowa doesn't have the off to win the vast majority of games

I think just about any high school coach could do better with this offense.
How much of a threat is a qb that basically has a stake drove into the ground with a 3 foot chain. If we need a package with a mobile qb 3 yards from the end zone, wouldn't it be quite an advantage to have a mobile qb when we are 40-60 yards away???
