I don't recall ever seeing such a massive differential in the quality and level of performance of a defense vs an offense.
The Iowa D is solid top 10. The Iowa O looks even worse than last season, which I honestly didn't think was possible.
There's a good argument that the offense didn't contribute anything positive to impact the outcome of that game. It was won entirely on the basis of D and special teams play.

They tried going after Quinn Schulte and he had about 3-4 big breakups. Avoided throwing towards Moss entirely.
This game will for sure be in the BTN Iowa Classic lineup

In defense of the OLine, when there's no passing threat, makes run blocking pretty tough.

Iowa’s offense is so god awful bad that it is easy to forget Hawk defense is elite. Can the defense score enough points each week to win games?
Yeah, there was a MSU game at Kinnick a few years ago when their punter had more rushing yards than our offense.
He was last Year and off to another good start making sure Nobody forgets it , Labas needs to start the rest of the way, He cant be worse and at least has the legs to make an occasional play and Iowa will need Him ready for next Year . This Team wont win more than 6-7 Games as is . Absolute trash on the Offensive side of the ball. BF should resign right now and have some honor.

I don't know what's worse:
1) Continuing to stick with a terrible, struggling QB when you have multiple other hand-picked choices on the bench, including a guy with quite a bit of experience and wins under his belt, OR
2) Being a B1G team and having the worst QB in college football on the field, and claiming that he's unequivocally the best you got.
Ferentz is never embarrassed, and he will just make up some BS reply
You think this team is going to win 7 games? I don't see a single sure-win left on the schedule...
