Midas touch can say what it wants but the NABJ CEO ( possibly dif title) verified the technical difficulties.
What does any of that have to do with the actual disastrous Q&A? I feel like I'm asking you about football and you're replying with a story about riding bikes.

And voluntarily chose him from large candidate fields in 2016 and 2024 all while claiming it's actually the fault of Democrats that he's their candidate and was elected. They could have had a Republican who isn't a constant threat to unravel like he did today. Someone who is articulate and thoughtful and decent and focused. They could have had a candidate who doesn't force you constantly to defend their behavior, comments, and actions. They could have had a candidate who doesn't require you to interpret "what he really meant" and be expected to make excuses for absurdities and indecencies.

I’ve said many times Trump didn’t just happen to the GOP like so many Republican posters here want to believe. He was the pressure valve that was building for decades as the party ceded control to the nuts, and as part of American society retreated to a place of racial and economic grievance. He saw the opportunity and he stoked the fire to get that pressure valve to blow. 8 years later we can only say that this is who they are.
