I am in the same boat. Domestically, we've allowed non-legal labor to be hired to circumvent labor laws. Internationally, comparative advantage as a foundation of international trade doesn't, or at least shouldn't, mean that your trading partner's advantage in making a widget is that it has no labor laws and uses borderline slave labor to make widgets imo.
I'll add that this is neither here nor there. I won't play along in his game of trying to divide the American public. Come up with an immigration solution that doesn't involve torpedoing Congress from agreeing to one.

Non citizens w/criminal records is around 655,000. 39,000 of these are already in ICE custody (at capacity).
So, even if Uncle Fester's warning is true about Tuesday, would this take much of a dent out of the problem? The only other category I can see in my limited data search is "others without authorization", without a number attached. But even if that is significant, how would they be found?

Deport them all the let them apply to come back in and those that had a good work record here can come back in with work visas under an expedited track.
Or they can present themselves voluntarily to ICE now, undergo fingerprinting and a background check and if they havent committed any crimes can get a temporary visa until they can get approved to stay here or have to go back.
Every illegal alien is a criminal. They broke the law coming here. Why is that so hard for the left to understand? If you don't like the law, try and have Congress change it and allow open borders. If you need more foreign workers open up legal immigration. In the meantime the American people spoke loud and clear, the border is the #1 issue. Send them back.
