Those are garbage stats. The athletic department pulls in more than 13th rank in B1G and athletic department doesn't have to support mens Hockey. There is plenty of dough for basketball and if there isn't, then all the more reason to fire Barta.

The other stat---Alford, Davis, Raveling all had similar overall/B1G records. Fran's results nothing special.

Maybe you misread my post or I wasn’t clear enough. Iowa ranks 13th in resources/budget allocated towards basketball. Not the overall athletic department.

The other point was nobody is claiming Fran is special. People are acting Dr Tom was the second coming, but his results are very similar to FM and SA.

My point is the fact that he played at all for Iowa is embarrassing. That’s my point, how we continually miss on recruiting is mind boggling.

You don’t think a second team all conference, 50% 3pt shooter in the MVC could get 10mpg as a spot shooter in the big ten?
