No. Senior from Waukee. MVC player of the year. She’s really good but she’s getting every whistle too.
Syd still rusty, not crisp yet. Glad she has the non-conference to shake the rust off.
Just fall to the floor and Drake will get the call. Really poor officiating and I don't normally say that. I just accept that is what you are going to get.
My biggest concern is whether we have enough ball handlers against pressure in your face defense.
Iowa wears down the Bulldogs, winning 86-73.

Appreciate the link. Jan really shortened the bench today. Officiating sucked but it’s a road win. Onward!
Those were some tired legs out there the last 5 minutes both teams
This game was frustrating but saw Jan go upper classmen. Good win for the hawks. AOG with another great game

When the opponent chucks up that many 3’s those long rebounds are just being in the right spot. Luck of the draw I guess.

Oklahoma coach is Drake's old coach. Played at Dowling, right?? Then played at Iowa for Bluder.
What a mixed bag today. We got the double-digit dub with many rough edges to smooth out yet which is a good thing. If we played great and only won this way, we're gonna be in trouble for B1G play.
She had her chances to win that spot last year....
Lots of turnovers that seemed like bad score/situation decisions. Think they can learn from that, but I like the mental resiliency the team shows after making mistakes. A few runs at the lead, but Iowa responded.
I feel like they are still trying to find their bread and butter, what they need in situations to get the right shot for different players.
Lucy didn't get any easy looks, but she still managed to get buckets. The technical on her was a bs call.
Can see that Iowa is going to have to be very good on free throws, will probably decide a lot of games for them.
O'Grady continues into this senior season. Almost 30 pts.? Damn.
Dinnibier with a career game. Hitting all those free throws and killing Iowa with 3s until her legs gave up. Good player.

Agree! I thought she needed some gills to breathe better. I thought she was going to pass out at the free throw line a few times.
I don’t know about others but this was a really good win. Drake came in determined to shoot 40 3s and hope they could slow Iowa by playing a frenetic pace. Thinking without CC Iowa couldn’t play that way. Wrong.
Only concern was TOs. But great shooting advantage and some ladies are emerging who look like all Big 10 caliber players.

Some speculation she might be Iowa's head coach someday... She's been successful at both Drake and Oklahoma... Timing and interest may not work out but you never know...
I'm sure she did, I was just saying imagine if she broke out last year when CC was still here.
