Should a teacher be able to persuade students to get an abortion without parental knowledge? It isn’t that they didn’t tell the parents. It’s that they influenced and pushed the student further in that direction without parental involvement. It’s one thing to keep a secret. It’s another to help advance it.

The point is there are very few gender affirming care surgeries being preformed on minor transgenders despite the fact that it's constantly a Republican talking point.

According to them parent's rights trump state statutes when they are consistent with Republican/MAGA values, but when a parent from a different state wants the opportunity to make choices with/for their transgender child the state needs to make the decision.

In MAGA world parent's rights apply to mask wearing, vaccines, outing children, curriculum choices, R rated movies, etc. However, forget about gender affirming care, abortion, drag shows, library book choices, etc. Parent's can't make those choices the government needs to make those decisions.
