Will Jack McCaffery end up at Iowa in the end?

have you watched Iowa basketball in the last 15 years? he is exactly the 4 star wing player they have recruited in that span.
This kid might have a shot at playing in the Sweet 16 some day
With the pedestrian incident and negativity towards Patrick, a change of venue is for the best. I think Motta and Fran are good friends. Thad's a pretty good coach also.
Butler was tied for 8th in the Big East last year ahead of 2 win Georgetown and winless DePaul. This is not a knock on either McCaffery but it’s the right move for both boys. Way less scrutiny, and it’s hard playing for your dad. He’s not super athletic and would clearly struggle with the same defensive issues we’ve had over the years.
I just saw one serve had him rated around 130. I think they’ve finally caught on to the McCaffery potential. Not a slam at Jack, he’s probably the best and I wish him well.
The funny thing is that the website that put the news out there thought it was weird that Fran couldn't land his own son, and that their info was that Iowa never even offered Jack. Basically it was a black eye for Iowa and Fran. The crap these sites put out there is amazing. I posted here more then 2 years ago that Jack would NEVER go to Iowa. Mama bears grumbling had already started, and then the accident. These clowns should do some research if these stories really mattered, but of course its all just about clicks now.....

Using some common sense you’d think they would’ve ask the question before just assuming the same guy who recruited Garza and the Murray twins didn’t realize how good his own son was, and didn’t even bother to offer.

It's absurd. Did they ever stop to realize that Fran is also his DAD. They made the decision together...this wasn't some bizarre rejection of his Father's program as if they never talk to each other.
If we're being truly honest here, he's likely overrated on the boards just like his brothers. He's likely going to be a serviceable(most of the time) to good mid-major/low power five(at best) type of player. He's just like his brothers were except each was apparently better than the the older one. I don't know, they all had their moments and could be glue guys at times but none of them have been make or break players at any point in their careers here from my recollection. Hopefully it works out for Jack and the family but I sincerely doubt we'll really regret not getting this one truthfully.
