WWE Raw

What ever he does, I hope he stretches first...
My personal advice is bring him in and delegate some responsibility to him. Tony is a nice guy. Which unfortunately can’t work as the boss. Especially in the pro wrestling/entertaining business.

I think Shane in a backstage role for AEW would be very short-lived and lead to another espisode where Tony saw his life flash before his eyes...I don't see Shane suffering the fools Tony has running his promotion, much more than Punk could.

I think he returns for the rush of performing/jumping off things, not the backstage drama.

True, but if you look at TK lately he appears about ready to collapse. Tired, frustrated, burned out, etc etc.
The Boys need to have a heart to heart with each other. This is exactly how WCW died. One day rich dudes woke up and said they’re tired losing money. Also this isn’t fun anymore.
If TK self destructs it’s all over.

I think the wheels are pretty close to coming off for Tony, and he won't get out of his own way, so unfortunately it will happen. He is not a good booker, he doesn't have a wrestling mind for long term success. It's about hot-shotting and big suprises that never have a follow-up...

How did he capitalized on the bucks/perry taking him out? Nothing, he had nothing, just a stunt to pop a rating, which didn't happen. Him getting involved in the ring was the beginning of the end.

I see there are AEW fans here. I have never watched one show. But God Damn, Jim Cornette has been entertaining talking about them for a while.

I just enjoy him talking about wrestling in general.

I can’t believe Tony had someone like that he could bring in when he started the company and didn’t.

I know it was Jim’s decision because Tony was going to run everything, and he saw the writing on the wall.

I know AEW fans don’t like Jim. How do you think AEW would look now, if Tony brought in someone like Jim initially, and actually gave them some control?

UWF, Herb got in his own way. That and being jacked on Coke 24/7.
TNA, Dixie decided she needed to be on TV. And Hogan Knows Best.

There isn’t anyone like Jim. Past, present, or future.
If TK was to bring someone in from the beginning it would be several guys to handle the children Al Snow, Lance Storm, or Abyss.
Btw Cornette and Russo need to do a show together. Jerry Springer redux.

I don't think Cornette booking AEW would of worked in that he hates everything about what Tony and the Bucks consider to be the best of modern pro-wrestling. Cornette with Tony's budget would have a successful business, likely more successful than AEW ever was, but it would be foriegn to everything that Tony books for the core 500K AEW die-hards live for.

The thing that surprised me most in reading this- Cole is only 15 years younger than JIm Ross

That looks about right. Think Roman gets involved in Cody match. And Dirty Dom helps Liv.

I think Bron gets the IC title over Sami...does Gunther get the title? Perhaps Judgement Day shenanigans/miscommunication?

Idk, the title hasn’t done much for Priest. Part of it may be his happy to be there personality. Works better as a heavy than as the main guy imo. Gunther carries himself as a top guy no matter the role.

Glad they dropped the belt to LA Knight. Hopefully Smackdown can get some better midcard matches with someone that actually defends.

5-2 on predictions. It'll be interesting to see how Gunther's and Breaker's championship runs go.
