Watched cincy dismantle a good houston team in their conference champ game.
And yes, completely unsurprisingly, they have a significant athletic advantage.
It would be one of the bigger 10 over 7 upsets as cincy probably belongs on the 6 line.

What did you guys expect, Tennessee is the weakest team out of all those top six teams that we could’ve asked for second round. Better than all three acc, Gonzaga, and Kentucky imo. Cinn lost to osu, and east Carolina, and play in a weak conference. We can do this, only 8 hour drive

I don’t really have a problem with the 10 seed but I think Cincinnati should have been seeded higher. I agree with another poster that they knocked them down to play close to home against a struggling team. I think they were ranked around #20 in last poll. That being said if Iowa hits their shots they can beat almost anyone.

Tyler Cook is the key in this game. He has to play defense vs POY Cumberland. He can out athlete him. I like it.

Now on to PG. Their PG is small 6’0 at most, so that allows Bohannon to not get out of position on D and can shoot over him on offense.

Coaching- nick Cronin is a very good coach! It’s a defense va offensive game boys! We got this! Go hawks!

Cumberland is 6’5” guard who leads Cincinnati in assists. Don’t know that Cook would be matched up vs him as they also start 6’8” PF Scott and 6’11” center Brooks. More likely JW/Moss/Baer on Cumberland. But Cumberland leads their O by a big margin at 18pts/gm. Only other player in double figures for them is another guard- Williams at 10pt/gm. Fran seems to gameplan well vs teams with a single offensive focus- blanketing them with length. Cumberland shoots 40+% from 3- Williams 28%. So, even more than Iowa, they’ll need to shoot well vs Iowa’s length.
