Difference though was that White was fouled in that game but the refs swallowed their whistle. This one we just quit once Iowa State got it to 14. No urgency to maintain the lead nor outplay them in the final 10 minutes. At least not until they had already cut it to less than 6. And by then they were too far out of sorts to recover.

ISU cut it to one - Iowa built it back up to 8 and had the ball with a minute something left.

This team choked. Just like they did in Ames 2 years ago.

Yep - everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Nine times out of ten, with an 8 point lead and that amount of time, a team wins. It's encouraging that Iowa does have it in them to play with any team, but just need to learn how to finish. While the ending sucked tonight, hopefully similar mistakes won't occur again.
