If U of Houston is going after a recruit, I want him to be a Hawkeye. Fran seems to be recruiting more guys with elite athleticism.
IOWA: “I loved Iowa because when Coach (Fran) McCaffery was talking to me, he is a great guy, really funny dude. But he told me that I could play really well in their system, with how fast they play and how much they shoot. It would be a good fit.”
Note that Dean Oliver is the head coach of his AAU program.

I think they want coon badly but I don’t see him coming to Iowa
I see Creighton, Neb or Iowa State with a better chance for JC. I think he really connected with and likes Fred Hoiberg and his NBA ties. I sense the program that can offer him the best route to NBA is where he will ultimately go.
However, Matt Gatens can turn some heads, including mine, if he can land this player for the Hawks.
