Another ridiculous decision

I’m not. I have confidence they have the ability to work enough to provide. Why do you assume they don’t have that ability?
You are a simple thinker.

There is a lot of shit that can affect their ability to just go work second jobs. Child care (finding somebody to watch the kids during irregular work schedules), affording childcare (no point in working a second job if you aren’t going to be any better off because of childcare costs.

In case you haven’t noticed, rents have been increasing a lot, which takes out of the grocery budget. I know you will respond that they should find someplace cheaper. If they cant afford groceries, they sure aren’t going to be able to afford security depost as well as first and last months rent.

Maybe they have unexpected illnesses that prevent then to work more, or there were unexpected medical bills that have come up.

Perhaps they dont have reliable transportation to get to a second job and public transit only operates for them to get to their current job

You dont know their situations and just assume they are all lazy asses who dont want to work. Consider yourself fortunate that youve had the means and support to deal with adversity

We have made it way easy and acceptable at sucking at life. Give all the damn kids FREE food, the able bodied adults can starve.
I mean, I wouldn’t say that, but I’m for “super schools” where kids can eat all of the healthy food they care to, and spend time in before or after school programs for athletics or academics or other extracurricular programs, free of charge. I would make the access to food and programs year ‘round. If we could maximize that and minimize handouts for adults, that would be preferred. I want every seed to have an opportunity to sprout and grow into a sturdy and happy tree. But once they are adults, I am less and less understanding. I know it’s not that clean in real life, but that is my general philosophy.

There are other programs to help with that are there not?

I don’t know many people that blame a child for being poor. It’s certainly not their fault. I don’t believe that they should suffer for decisions that they didn’t make. That’s where other responsible adults need to step in and help. That is how our society is supposed to work.

Step up and help by giving out $40 EBT cards which can be used for soda, candy and potato chips? There are better ways and you know it.

What are these better ways?

And lets go with the assumption that all these parents are able to go out and get a second job the same people will cry about parents not being around and being involved with their kids life when a video on twitter shows these kids acting a fool.

I’m sure that Kim is losing sleep trying to figure out those “better ways”. Maybe you have some ideas that you would like to share?

I don't disagree with you. However, my work with the indigent, juvenile, family, and criminal law makes it very grey in my mind. Some people are deadbeats. Some parents have babies before they should, but they started out life with a 3rd and 25.

Regardless, we can't end the cycle by denying children food and roof over their head.

Yes. Some kids start out 1st and 1 on the the opponent’s goal line, and some kids start out 4th and 40 on their own 1. It’s not a quick fix but my goal would be everyone starts out no worse than first and 10 on the 25 after a fair catch on the opening kickoff. But, like I said, it’s not that clean in real life.

You support politicians that stand in the way, tho?

I assume you will vote against anybody that wants to limit a womans access to abortion, especially considering your position that people making under $20/hr shouldnt start a family?

Abortion isn't a religion to me like it is to those on the left.

And I'm not a single issue voter.

So because they never got this food to begin with, it's ok to make sure they never get it? These are real kids who need real food. And you and Kimmy are ok with making sure they don't get it. I just don't get it. It's beyond punitive. It's vindictive.
If the parent gave up the cigs they would have oodles of money to buy healthy food for those kids. Let's see what the parent can do to feed their kids before I have to pay for it with my tax money.

You’re a moron. Again, where most start and finish in life is determined by their parents. If you can’t be a parent, don’t breed children. How many of these welfare imbeciles have multiple children??

I have no use for her or trump, but I find it hilarious that trump uses her support for him in his campaign ad and approves of the message. Makes her look like the wishy washy bimbo she is.

Personally, I think this ad is so so so stupid. These are things she said when he was president and running for reelection. He's the Republican leader in those times so she will fall in line publicly. The simps will probably view it exactly as you said but I'm begging you all to look through the campaign ad as nothing more than that. Trump is trying to paint a picture that isn't totally true.

It looks like all his other ones.

No, not a Reynolds fan either.

Politicians trying to paint a picture in their advertising that isn’t true?
