Is Nelson healthy? Why is he not wrestling the post season? The coaches missed a big opportunity
Totally healthy. Missing 2 months and then limped off the mat after Okie State was all just a ruse.
I would definitely have lost any trivia question where Blake Rasing is the correct answer.I really like our guy at 97!! And I think our guy at 57 is pretty darn good as well! If our fellas show up and do what they're capable of doing we should have a great weekend!![]()
And the full leg wrap was just in case there was a draft in the tunnel heading out to the mat.Totally healthy. Missing 2 months and then limped off the mat after Okie State was all just a ruse.
Do you know who you’re talking to? Careful what you wish for buddy. You might be in for the most trivial back and forth of your life.
You might put the whiskey down and leave the bar until your noggin starts workingWhy did Nelson wrestle or even come back? We wasted an entire year to not have Gabe at 74 and Angelo at 84. This is incredibly stupid
MSU is absolutely pathetic without 1 wrestler seeded in the top 10... Likewise WI is not too far behind I think they have the most 14 seeds... What an embarrassment for both schoolsI'm beginning to think MSU is on to something.
Won’t be shocked if a few dropMSU is absolutely pathetic without 1 wrestler seeded in the top 10... Likewise WI is not too far behind I think they have the most 14 seeds... What an embarrassment for both schools
On the other side Maryland has really improved from where they were at. Could have a couple AAs this year.MSU is absolutely pathetic without 1 wrestler seeded in the top 10... Likewise WI is not too far behind I think they have the most 14 seeds... What an embarrassment for both schools
Really shocking where Wisky is at compared to 10, 20, 30 years ago.MSU is absolutely pathetic without 1 wrestler seeded in the top 10... Likewise WI is not too far behind I think they have the most 14 seeds... What an embarrassment for both schools
The 8/9 seed is really tough to AA from. Awhile back I looked at 3 years of brackets and the results weren’t favorable. The 10 and 11 seeds had better results than 8 or 9.PK needs to win that 4/5 match or he probably won't be seeded high enough to all-American. Would love to see him at least get 3rd and jump back into that 8/9 seed.
The whole you dig is deep enough already. Is Nelson healthy? Why is he not wrestling the post season? The coaches missed a big opportunity
Especially the last two years. It’s hard to imagine 3 years ago Wisky was 12-2 in duals and had 9 NCAA qualifiers, 8 in ‘23 and 5 last year. This year 2 tops.Really shocking where Wisky is at compared to 10, 20, 30 years ago.
Brother, I was in the same boat. I wouldn't have guessed him in 30 tries, and I've been watching (when possible in the military) and paying attention to Iowa wrestling for decades.I would definitely have lost any trivia question where Blake Rasing is the correct answer.
Ummm - never mind.MSU is absolutely pathetic without 1 wrestler seeded in the top 10... Likewise WI is not too far behind I think they have the most 14 seeds... What an embarrassment for both schools
That would be the fundamental concept behind the Rivals forum model. But, feel free to chime in on a rival message board!
This is where the rubber hits the road for a guy in Kueter’s position, IMO. Finsihing 3rd in this field would be a big step forward. It will require sustained sharpness and smart wrestling. A strong showing here and at Nationals sets him up well psychologically for next season.I think Ben can realistically finish 3rd. Feldman is a tough rematch for sure. Heinselman is good obviously but Keuter struggles with guys with the size advantage. I think Ben has improved since his loss to Luffman and he and the Rutgers kid are fairly evenly matched. Tough weight for sure, I mean 3-9 are all pretty close ability wise.
Assuming he loses to Kerk and seeds hold, his path through the consi's would be Nevills, Slavikouski, Feldman and Heindselman. This is where the rubber hits the road for a guy in Kueter’s position, IMO. Pulling that off would be a huge step in college wrestling maturation.Assuming he loses to Kerk and seeds hold, his path through the consi's would be Nevills, Slavikouski, Feldman and Heindselman.
The hole you dig is wholly dependent on how dig you dig, wholly. The whole you dig is deep enough already.
Sadly, Ben is the 3 seed if he beats Luffman. 😞The hole you dig is wholly dependent on how dig you dig, wholly.
Clemson's doing a great job there. On the other side Maryland has really improved from where they were at. Could have a couple AAs this year.
Wait, what does this mean? I am so confused. Sorry!Sadly, Ben is the 3 seed if he beats Luffman. 😞
Just that Ben would have likely been the 3 seed instead of the 7 if he beat Luffman when they wrestled in the dual...Wait, what does this mean? I am so confused. Sorry!
Got it! Dang it!!!Just that Ben would have likely been the 3 seed instead of the 7 if he beat Luffman when they wrestled in the dual...
I could see arguments with 149 but really don't see how changing up the top 3 would end the argument. That really is a 3 man toss up but of course only 2 will get into the championship match.Does anyone think any seeds will get changed tomorrow? I know it is pretty rare. I don't follow other teams close enough to know if they would have any strong arguments for their guys. Do the coaches ever actually push for their guy to get seeded higher anymore after the pre-seeds come out, or do they just except them and move forward? Just wondering why they even release pre-seeds if nothing ever changes anyway. Just release the seeds on Friday and roll with it.
Obviously, getting the 1 seed is a HUGE advantage. I don’t necessarily have an issue with the pre-seeds, but I would fight pretty damn hard if I were the Iowa or Nebraska coaches…I could see arguments with 149 but really don't see how changing up the top 3 would end the argument. it behooves the rest of the B1G coaches to get a PSU wrestler out of the favored seed (not that it ultimately will make a big difference)Obviously, getting the 1 seed is a HUGE advantage. Van Ness Major over Parco > Lovett major over Van Ness, since Parco beat Lovett.Obviously, getting the 1 seed is a HUGE advantage. I don’t necessarily have an issue with the pre-seeds, but I would fight pretty damn hard if I were the Iowa or Nebraska coaches…
10 central / 11 eastern start on SaturdayWhich site is correct for schedules? Hawkeyesports.com or BigTen. Iowa shows 10am CDT, BT shows 10am EDT.
What kind of Jedi mind trick is that 😂Van Ness Major over Parco > Lovett major over Van Ness, since Parco beat Lovett.
I am saying the coaches who are seeding it are looking at it this way and all things being even Lovett has lost twiceWhat kind of Jedi mind trick is that 😂
All 3 have 1 conference loss. Lovett didn’t get majored. Both SVN and Parco did. His loss was by 1 pt. Manning has a legitimate argument for the 1 seed. But let’s hope the seeds hold. The match up with Lovett has proven to be a lot better.
