Gabe... stay on your feet and fight the hands! He put himself on his back against Foca in the same situation by trying to dive to the ankles. If you are not proficient with creating scrambles don't do it at Nationals. Tough way to end.
Not to mention when you are too short to reach the other guys legs on the dive under it leaves you in a bad spot.

Dam, I hope PK AAs. Sure, career hasn't gone as he hoped (fans as well), but the guy has stuck it out, been a good teammate, and I'd love for him to get a spot on the podium.
As a Pitt guy I am interested in the matchup, these 2 are about the same size and are probably not used to wrestling someone with their build

Unlikely at this point, too many bonus points to try and stay close after Parco's injury. Both those teams have been pinning in bunches and Iowa has no pinners. And Spratley actually has a good chance to sneak into the finals for OSU, even if their other three all lose next round. If we can get three finalists and two champions is about the only chance.
The dumb stuff that Arnold got away with in high school doesn't work at this level.

Hard to finish in the top three when Teemer and Cruz gave you zero points, didn’t qualify at 141 and then Parco gets injured in the 2nd round and then MFF. That’s five weight classes with only one win. Really need Drake, Mikey and Buchanan to win their semis tonight or we could be in trouble holding on to 4th place. Hopefully PK and BK keep winning in the consolation bracket.
