The last time my four boys went to the quad cities and wrestled was when we came back from winter nationals last year in Blue Island. We destroyed everyone from the area. It made me wonder how the kids their do so well in high school. My boys are elite though. Bettendorf kids thought they were hot shit and got worked. It was a waste of time and almost a trophy hunt. Never again.

It ain't bad place dude... Great live and local music, Daytrotter, the best minor league ballpark in America, local breweries, the Bix, River Roots, Ribfest, Blackhawk Hotel, Adler Theatee, etc.. Downtown Davenport has gone through some major renovations over the last decade and is a pretty cool place to be... Believe it or not.

My brother lives in Galesburg not to far from there. They are upscale people and have a lot of good things to say about dport. If it was a run down dump I couldn't see them going there.

I'm from council bluffs and every thinks it's a dump bc of one area they see. It's actually a really nice community.

Downtown Davenport has gone through some major renovations over the last decade and is a pretty cool place to be... Believe it or not.

Modern Woodmen park is a great place to catch a game!. Hotel Blackhawk is overated imo. Thé Adler theater is cool. I missed the Bix this year because I was in Osh Kosh Wisconsin for the world's biggest air show. I did enjoy the St Patty's day parade downton. Great turnout. It's not all bad here at all. Unfortunately though the bad outweighs the good for me.

Was driving through IC tonight. Saw a disabled van on I-80. Pulled over to offer help but was told that they had already called for a tow truck to pull them into a service station. I decided to wait to make sure that they were in good hands. A few minutes later, Brody showed up wearing nothing but a singlet and a massive set of chains around his neck. Brody proceeded to chain up the van and pull it 3.5 miles to the nearest 24 hour service station....with his teeth (while doing 95 lb curls....he also had 50 lb per leg ankle weights with inward facing spikes). The family offered to pay him for the tow, but he refused and simply asked them to donate what they could to the Salvation Army. Brody is special.

He will either do 1-2 matches at Midlands or hold off for a couple more weeks. He isn't going to wrestle a full tournament his first time back.We can argue about this for a few more pages, but it isn't going to happen. His weight is spot on as long as he isn't wearing his leather racing gear.
