I think it wise to temper your expectations. Brody has yet to wrestle at 141 and was inconsistent at 149. Let's see him get some matches under his belt before we get too excited. Oh, wait......He has wrestled 141? Carry on.

Brody has been very inconsistent. I am a big Brody fan - even if I am not a big fan of his "style". He is inconsistent, frequently tries for the high risk/high reward throws (even if his success rate isn't very high), gets too loose on top, and gets sloppy at times. Otherwise, love the way he wrestles .

Hard not to love Brody the person and what he has done for the program and what he is capable of when wrestling well.

Tom Brands alluded in his latest interview on Takedown radio that Brody would be the guy going forward. I'm sure we all thought this would be the case, but he said something along the lines that Carton and Paddock let the opportunity to take the spot slip away, and left it up to Brands to make the choice.
