****cal poly game thread****

What a joke to end the first half. Pathetic Connor. Start JT in the second half please. (Not gonna happen, I know)

Joe T made quite a few bad plays in the 1st half and didn’t sit. Your narrative is tired and played out.

Connor threw it away twice for runnouts and he played 15 min. JoeT probably played 5 min and one Turnover. Connor never going to be starter material on a good team. JoeT lots of upside.

This is the type of game you let Joe T play 28 minutes or so. He needs experience. Iowa is going to need him a lot just to stay competitive, but Fran would rather play his boy so he can inflated his stats against terrible competition

This whole Joe W to the NBA talk has to stop. The dude is a Euro player at best.
Well, he certainly isn't going after this season anyway, and never thought he was. He just needs to settle down. He seems to be pressing to much, and just let the game come to him. They also said in the pre game they he was working through a dislocated elbow, probably from the fall a couple of games ago, so I'm sure thats had some impact on his jumper.

Joe T took bad shots, tried an ill advised and intercepted no look, lost his man on D and basically played out of control. Connor has made a couple glaring mistakes but otherwise has played well.

I coach 6th grade youth basketball and I have to continually hound the boys about that pass. The pass from the wing back to the top of the key, if lazy, is one of the worst passes you can make. Always leads to a turnover and transition bucket.

Joe T. has made a couple of mistakes (as have other Hawk players), but not “quite a few”. Let’s not exaggerate.

Naturally the 3’s start falling for Cal now. Can’t keep leaving them wide open.

What an uninspiring performance against a bad team. Really pitiful to play like this at home against a school the caliber of cal poly which is essentially the basketball equivalent of an opponent brought in for a tune up fight.
