Are you at the game?CJ hits a three and gets fouled for an and-one opportunity and Carver-Hawkeye Arena erupts in a polite, seated golf clap!
You must be new here.....WTH? I read this thread and thought the Hawks were down. I finally get to tune in and they are up 18?
Cincinnati Kentucky's finest!
Somebody should give Mike Hall a geography lesson
Lol. No. I suppose this means I can't have an observation-based opinion? Are you at the game?
No, it means you can’t always judge the Carver noise level from TV. Since you aren’t there, you can’t say for sure.Lol. No. I suppose this means I can't have an opinion?
Maybe you need one. Look up where CJ went to High School.
Still getting his feet under himself. I am hoping that by the B1G he can at least provide a few minutes of good defense and some assists as a backup at PG.Evelyn is a consistent mistake guy. Expected more from him.
TV showed good portion of lower third, everybody seated and clapping like like someone in HR got a department appreciation award or something. No, it means you can’t always judge the Carver noise level from TV. Since you aren’t there, you can’t say for sure.
Ok, Mr. Know-It-All. One small portion of Carver = entire arena.TV showed good portion of lower third, everybody seated and clapping like like someone in HR got a department appreciation award or something.
He went to HS in KY, no doubt. Grew up in Cincinnati and crossed the Ohio river to attend HS. There is no Cincinnati, KY.
Look, man, I go to a lot of games, made yearly trips from LA, SF, and NYC while living in those far-off places, now go to a handful a year since moving back to the midwest. I grew up with Raveling and was a walk-on for Tom Davis. Carver is worthy of criticism.Ok, Mr. Know-It-All. One small portion of Carver = entire arena.
Technically no, but the metro area of Cincinnati is definitely in KY.
Good for you. I go to games, too. Carver may not be the greatest, but not near as bad as the complainers make it out to be.Look, man, I go to a lot of games, made yearly trips from LA, SF, and NYC while living in those far-off places, now go to a handful a year since moving back to the midwest. Agreed that it’s the culture more so than the arena. CHA can get rockin and have an energetic feel. I’d wouldn’t be opposed to a new facility either.Good for you. I go to games, too. Carver may not be the greatest, but not near as bad as the complainers make it out to be.
Personally, I think the Hawks need to build another venue like the Fieldhouse. THAT place really rocked.

It was packed, but tiny!Good for you. I go to games, too. Carver may not be the greatest, but not near as bad as the complainers make it out to be.

Yep. Will certainly need him for depth if Nunge is out with a bad knee..Pemsl has given very good minutes tonight. Like to see that.
As to your points. Garza does tend to be very aggressive with the ball, and generally makes the right decision. He scores at a high rate and will draw alot of fouls, so mostly good. He did in fact pass out of the double a couple of times tonight for assists, so hopefully he adds that to his game. Nunge may only be a role player, but we better hope he's not out for the year, or else Pemsl better really step up or we'll be thin down low against the big boys. I think Joe W. needs to just let the game come to him. He spent the whole off season listening to Fran and the NBA guys telling him to be more aggressive with the ball in his hands, and now he's pressing too hard. Joe T needs to settle a little bit also. Everything that went so well on Friday, looked forced and out of control today. Really hope that Patrick is able to get back in the mix, as I think he has something to over against certain matchups.I been saying since I got to see kid play in high school state tourney. CJ IS A BEAST. Fran is going to have to rethink this deal he is clearly the best all around guard on team and will need to have the ball in his hands. He doesnt hunt shots he makes great decisions and never waste pounding the ball. Most important he plays D just heard his interview where he said D is all heart and desire. Here is what I saw tonight. Joe T tries too hard and just jacks bad shots, Conner was steady but way over dribbles. Needs to pitch ahead. Had Joe T open on break and kept dribbling. Luke is a beast but once again never passes out of Double. Kriener is better than Nunge its time to make that change right now. JN is a role player. Joey does not looked engaged and it wasnt a good sign shooting a contested three with CJ wide open on left baseline. We still have to improve shot selection but D is getting better. Very impressed with Conner D tonight it was better.
