In his defense, it's an article dated yesterday about a 2016 guy that Iowa was recruiting. Doesn't seem out of bounds to me.
I posted it on the ISU thing then deleted it and posted it here to see if anyone knew what was going on with his recruitment since it's been very odd. Figured it'd get more eyes here. I know his dad got sick or something but his whole list is different and I didn't even know ISU was on him

We haven't talked Moore in three weeks on here. I think bringing it up to talk ISU recruiting in ANOTHER thread should be out of bounds.

To be fair, JWR/100/89 and 91 have kept me from joining multiple threads. You might want to keep him/them around!
What likely is going on is the kid is being shopped. We will see if Prohm wants to be involved in bidding.

I think it's highly unlikely he comes to ISU but if you don't mind me asking what is rotten about his recruitment or why would Prohm have to turn away from him? I was under the impression he waited too long and some of the schools he was interested in filled his spot so that's why his list is so different
Agree, I think a lot of teams don't view him as a can't miss prospect. They were more than willing to use those open schollys on someone else.
No evidence to back it up, but the rumblings on these boards after he scheduled his first set of visits was that Fran had backed off due to something around the way Moore's recruitment was being handled. He went from Iowa being consistently listed in his top 2 to not even taking an official visit in a very short timeframe.
The only two teams left from his original six are Memphis and Cal. Memphis is just a catch away from probation and Cal concerns me. Why? A couple years back Cuonzo Martin hired an assistant away from Louisville. That's when all of a sudden he was a great recruiter. Think about it....what was recently discovered about Louisville?
It should be bothersome to State fans that Prohm is dipping into those waters. But hope...hope and hope...that the stanky around Moore has gotten so bad that even his handlers have had to back off for fear of getting caught. Doubt it though.

First off, let me note that in the first four pages when Iowa was involved, you didn't post once. I understand, you are a State fan. Of course, now that it is State that is interested you're all about talking Moore. What I don't understand is why you dug up an old thread. Was it so you could say you were staying on topic?
As to bothersome. I'm not going to try to explain why it should bother you that several programs backed off Moore, and your new coach jumped right in. Figure it out for yourself.
I knew Iowa was heavily involved and didn't follow his recruitment much. I think he's a really good prospect but not good enough to have a bunch of shady stuff going on in his recruitment but that's just my opinion. I would love for him to come to ISU and I thought he was going to end up in Iowa City
