He did not have a choice. But because he lived in that state he only came away with 50% of it. I'd never live in California no matter how beautiful it is.

Hahahaha!!!!! Beat me to it.Welcome to Duval, CJ!
Hahahaha!!!!! Beat me to it.
Beathard is going to end up coaching eventually! Two years learning from Urban Meyer will be great for him.He did not have a choice.
Lol, I'm still waiting on Jacksonville to draft a Hawkeye though. Last one was Tavian Banks...
My reference was to the 55-24 drubbing of Urban and his boys.could you be referring to the michigan win in which cj played? the gifs appear to be from the osu daytime game.
I think we can get Nixon at 33, as Urban said he wants a good defensive line.
I thought there was a good chance before free agency but it's going to be crowded at DT if they drafted Nixon now. I wouldn't mine ISM or Brandon Smith in the later rounds.
I think a lot of it has to do with strength.I just don't understand how he can't get a legitimate shot at a starting job.
He does pretty well when his OL isn't trying to kill him.
I think a lot of it has to do with strength.
Arm strength more around average compared to starting QBs. Physical strength definitely not on par with a lot of the starters. Has obviously had some durability issues throughout his career.
He's retained his mobility though through the years, and possesses pretty decent pocket awareness, which is something that has kept an immobile QB like Tom Brady from dying a natural (metaphorical) death in the league years ago...............
Exactly. That's really what I was wanting to say.He doesn't have an elite arm, but he can make all the throws and he's got enough size to make it work. If something happened to Trevor, I'll feel good about CJ coming in and the offense still functioning.

Brady and Brees have also logged over a decade of games and had that development. Give CJB some commitment and development and he would be much better at getting into a rhythm and getting that ball out on time.I like CJ solid in all areas. He has one problem which is a killer in the NFL. He holds on to the ball too long. If he was a second more decisive he'd be a really good QB. That's what Brady and Brees do best perfect timing. The athletic QBs can scramble around which gives them that extra time. A pocket passer has to be perfect with his timing or it's a sack fest.
He's taxed by what states the games are played in. California is just one of the many states he plays in.He did not have a choice.
True, but SF played 9 of their regular season games in CA last year. He's taxed by what states the games are played in. California is just one of the many states he plays in.
Going to say that it's been awhile since a Hawkeye was a Jags player.I think we can get Nixon at 33, as Urban said he wants a good defensive line.
and with the Tyson Alualu signing falling through, Jags will be looking to add an elite DL...Going to say that it's been awhile since a Hawkeye was a Jags player.
Let’s see how many Hawkeye Report posts you can make happen in the next 30 minutes of your life. O/U is 15.
I’m taking the Over. Ready Go!
You’re off to a great start, I’m going to win.Hi, Hick in Ark.
You seem a bit unhinged. Again. I guess that's what happens when you move down to Hickville Arkansas.
Do you ever post anything useful? Don't answer, Hick. We already know.
