CJ Beathard to Jacksonville (2 Years, $5 Million). In 4 seasons with the 49'ers, CJ earned $3,528,646

Long time NFL back up qb is arguably the best player position on a team. Not starter qb money, but nothing to sneeze at. Especially when you're not taking hits all season long.

And Florida does not have a state individual income tax so he's saving, I am guessing, approximately $400,000 right there (last season & this season)

He does have to file state income taxes for every state he plays in based on the amount he earns for the game. There are a couple of states that do not have a jock tax, TX included, but typically half his salary will be taxed at the state level.

Lots of bs dissing on Twitter. He's one of the most experienced, polished , backups in the NFL.
Did the morons forget he's a backup and they have Lawrence?

Jags fans are mad because they're wanting the Jags to announce a resigning of Evan Engram or Jawaan Taylor. I don't think it's anything about Beathard personally

Perhaps he follows the Nick Foles career arc.

Watching a former Iowa QB lead a team to win a Lombardi would be euphoric!

KCCI reporter on the news tonight, "CJ Ba-THARD with a touchdown pass ". 🤣🤣. Less Nessman would be proud
