Did CJ Fredrick Ruin His Career?

By transferring to Kentucky? He played 9 minutes today. 0 points . He did have a few good games early in the year against bad opponents, but not much sense. He would’ve been a major contributor here.

CJ's college career has been ruined?

I guess, but ruin his career how. He probably always wanted to be a Kentucky Wildcat, and now he is. He did just enough at Iowa, (when he wasn't injured), to make that possible. As for his career, he's not athletic enough to make an NBA roster, so his career is what it is......

If he had stayed he would have sat last year with injury while Tony established himself in the starting lineup.
So CJ might have come off the bench at Iowa. Fran would have stuck by him...you know that.
We could use his shooting,no doubt. His choice.

At least Fredrick is a little more consistent now, playing shitty basketball against bad teams, too. Coming into the game, Fredrick had played in 8 games this season.

Fredrick vs Howard, Duquesne, South Carolina St, North Florida and Bellarmine: 12.8ppg on 53% shooting

Fredrick vs Michigan State, Gonzaga and Michigan: 4ppg on 21% shooting

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Well, at least he's living in the lap of luxury that is the basketball dorm at Kentucky. Seems as though Calipari didn't get the bang for his buck on this deal recruiting Frederick away from Iowa as he did (with the help of C.J.'s uncle and McCaffery's ex-friend). I hope he misses every shot he takes.

He messed up his feet wearing bad shoes and hasn't been the same since. But it was also no surprise that he wouldn't get as many minutes at Kentucky. Not sure how they sold him on that idea.

How many years is he going to get? Is he trying to break JBo’s record?

Wait, what about McCaffery's ex girlfriend?

seems appropriate to use this here: the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.

In actuality, to even get CJ to come to Iowa was semi amazing. Cincinnati is full of multi-generational families that are born and raised and never left. He comes from one of these. It doesn't make them bad people, but if you've even lived there, you'd understand that their worlds are small and is comprised of OSU to the north and Kentucky to the south. In fact, if you really want to sum up Cincinnati, you could walk in a local establishment at any time and 70 year old men are arguing about the Greater Catholic League and if Elder, St. X or Moeller is better in football that season! Just remember that Mark Twain said "when I die, I want to be in Cincinnati because everything happens there 10 years later." It's a good place to live but very insulated.

lol

Well… sure…it’s not the sophisticated, jet set, cosmopolitan, life-of-the-mind existence someone from Muscatine or Dubuque is accustomed to… but they’re probably still decent folks.

smh…

CJ definitely had great moments on the court, but he was streaky and prone to injury,.. I wish him well.

No offense but at this point, CJ was a significantly better scorer and shooter than Payton and it's not even close. We would have been better had he stayed with the team.

Where did the bad shoes theory come from?
