I do. CJ can vomit blood while boiling in Hawkeye Hell.Liked him as a Hawk and I tend to not hold grudges....

LolNo offense but at this point, CJ was a significantly better scorer and shooter than Payton and it's not even close. We would have been better had he stayed with the team.
Totally different players. Payton is a true small forward who can defend bigger players. CJ was not a great defender but he could shoot. And, as noted, Payton doesn't get injured like CJ has/does. Payton is a tough kid.No offense but at this point, CJ was a significantly better scorer and shooter than Payton and it's not even close. We would have been better had he stayed with the team.
Great living quarters, too, until Cal needs his scholarship. He could have been a solid contributor at Iowa had he stayed healthy.
Hope he enjoys his time at Kentucky. At least he will have a good seat to watch the games.
#FreezingColdTakesI'd take him over Sandfort right now.

No she isn’t.CJ is the only transfer that gets any animosity simply because he was completely shady about transferring. He behaved like a child and deserves the dislike fans have for him. Jack Nunge on the other hand is respected and supported along with Joe T. It says something when a kid finds a way to show how classy he is or how classless. But CJ's gf is hot.
No kidding. Sandfort is more dynamic and can go inside as well. Doesn't even get into the fact that he's not made of glass......
Aany gal that is younger than me, and/or weighs less than me is a hottieNo she isn’t.
Not cute at all actually.
Perhaps CJ can play for a team with consistently atrocious defense (IOWA at +100 ) and not for a team with good to fair defense , Kentucky.CJ is so overrated it's comical. The way he left says a lot about his character and that of his family. If he wanted to leave, fine, be respectful about it. Instead he denied message board rumors up to the day he left. Now he's at a program where if you aren't a one and done caliber player you don't get much, if any, PT. So he can revel in the glory of making some 3's when Kentucky is up 20 and enjoy his role as a reserve.
The way the season is unfolding Connor will easily outscore CJ--let that sink in.
Injuries ruined his career......By transferring to Kentucky? He played 9 minutes today. 0 points . He did have a few good games early in the year against bad opponents, but not much sense. He would’ve been a major contributor here.
Downright hideous:No she isn’t.
Not cute at all actually.
Ummm, maybe before posting people should verify?Perhaps CJ can play for a team with consistently atrocious defense (IOWA at +100 ) and not for a team with good to fair defense , Kentucky.
if a coach values defesne, CJ won’t play as a regular, only a specialist (versus zone or end of game FT).
12-39 FG%Ummm, maybe before posting people should verify?
CJ has started the last 4 games, all wins, and has played 37, 36, 35, and 28 minutes and scored in double figures in 3 of 4. Against #5 Tennessee, at their place, he had 13. Had 10 points, 5 assists (1 TO), 2 rbs and a steal last night.
Calipari told him if he doesn't shoot he's coming out.12-39 FG%
8-29 3 pt FG%
he is getting his shots up….
I love that its not working for them like it used to.53 pts for the top ranked recruiting class plus the top returning all American center. Can’t stand that program and coach Cal. He’s just plug and play at this point. Them and Duke just go out and grab 5 top 50-100 players every year.
Most fans are just unobjective homers.Ummm, maybe before posting people should verify?

CJ was a very good all around player as a freshman and probably the best shooter Fran has had.
He did leave like a total bitch though.
Not sure what the relevance is but it depends on how much time was left on the shot clock. Here's a discussion on Facebook about UK's last game that season:
"Sarr takes a 3 up 1 with 30 seconds left? That’s a really smart move from one of our only Seniors. Then a 3 to win when down 1? Good riddance 20-21 Ky basketball."
"My thoughts exactly. I don’t understand not trying to get the ball down low. Probably would’ve missed anyway."
"it’s just not sexy enough to win off a layup or God forbid a free throw. The way basketball is played now is unfortunate."
Sarr shot 44% from 3 that season. What would you say they were complaining about? Not having a better 3pt. shooter? Or not having a strong big man who could score inside?
I was actually thinking of JJ the Michigan qb. His gf is cute. The best thing about the Michigan TCU game!No she isn’t.
Not cute at all actually.
Not even close to being the best shooter Fran has had. He got a lot of open 3 point looks thanks to Bohannon and Garza and he was decent at making them. He was very selective, I'll give him that. Better: Gatens, Bohannon, Murrays, Jok, Uthoff and maybe Sandfort to name a few. Most fans are just unobjective homers.

Well, they had a full shot clock to work with. Sarr never posted up, he was setting screens out at the 3pt line the whole possession, which ended with a pick and pop where he bricked a 3 with about 5 seconds left. Not sure what the relevance is but it depends on how much time was left on the shot clock.
He messed up his feet wearing bad shoes and hasn't been the same since. But it was also no surprise that he wouldn't get as many minutes at Kentucky. Not sure how they sold him on that idea.
I disagree. The 3pt percentages would back up my opinion but I understand not all shots are the same. Not even close to being the best shooter Fran has had. It appears they are complaining about the decision to shoot a 3 vs taking it to the basket.Well, they had a full shot clock to work with. So with that additional info, what would you say they were complaining about? Not having a better 3pt. shooter? Or not having a strong big man who could score inside?
So do you think the answer to their complaints is CJ, or would it be Oscar Tshiebwe? It appears they are complaining about the decision to shoot a 3 vs taking it to the basket.
I have no idea what your getting at.
I disagree. The 3pt percentages would back up my opinion but I understand not all shots are the same.
Some of those guys were probably better in certain situations. Off the dribble, off screens ect but just shooting wide open shots CJ was right there with Kent McCausland as nearly automatic.
Weiskamp is better than most of the ones you named id say its between him an CJ.
Sandfort too early to tell TBD, could end up better.
No offense but at this point, CJ was a significantly better scorer and shooter than Payton and it's not even close. We would have been better had he stayed with the team.
