Makes sense, most B1G members spend their vacation in the panhandle anyway.

I propose when/if this happens FSU replaces Purdue as our most “hated” rival….and we should play for a trophy, I’m sure HROT can come up with something here…

Secondly, FSU needs a dance partner (or 3 or 5) to make this happen.
Unless there's some sort of mathematical gymnastics that makes 19 being an easier football schedule for all, I just don't see them doing this alone. They're not going to want to go without having a partner as far as some sort of in-conference "familiar face". Someone they can look across the sidelines and say "hey, I know YOUUUUUUU...I KNOW YOU!"

I don't think having an odd number is a big deal for scheduling purposes, as we had 11 for years after PSU joined. But the travel considerations are real, although they could probably swing it for a year or two until the rest of the dominos fall.

I may be mis-remembering, but I believe they made "financial accommodations for extra travel" for the PAC4 additions in some fashion.
Maybe something (if applicable) might occur here too.

I enjoy Reed's posts 99.9% of the time, when it doesn't involve how FSU is going to come to the Big Ten and kick everyone's ass. We all get it. FSU is a better program than Iowa, has better recruiting, better tradition, more national football championships, etc. But having to hear people say it over and over again is like having an obnoxious uncle at the holiday dinner table bragging and going on and on about how sweet he is.
I only bring that shit up when you guys say that FSU would be a middle of the pack in the Big
I'm also guessing a lot of those are neutral fields in warm weather and not in Columbus in late November
To be fair, just a year ago we had to listen to ALL of you tell us that our program was dead and that you'd love to kick our asses.
We have a little bit of ptsd over insults to the program.
So when someone says FSU wouldn't go undefeated this year, you hear FSU would be middle of the pack?
