Exactly, and I couldn't agree more. How the hell is being on the field more than is necessary a good thing? The bend but don't idea is moronic. It's another way to say "let's not be aggressive on defense and while we're at it, let's play not to lose".

It may be the case with some, but go back and look at all my posts. I was cheering when the Hawks made good plays and I liked a stretch of the play calling ... and then Stanley started playing poorly in the 2nd quarter. I don't know what to think about this team, but they need to pick it up on O in a big way. This is Illinois and the second straight week it seems Iowa hasn't come to play. I understood the game against MSU on the road after the PSU game. But this? Didn't see this coming at all. It's disturbing.
LOL, Iowa State’s offense is playing a top 5 team on the road without their starting QB and is doing just as well as our offense is.
Just no touch. Just lob that to the sideline. Every throw is a rocket.
Stanley has gone into the wind in the 2nd and 3rd. And I want to say they've had to hold the ball on kickoffs a couple times.
