Hawks showed a lot of fight tonight, great win with a short bench. Still have a long way to go to make a difference the rest of the season...

Great win by the Hawks! need to rethink Dix playing time (Ulis way less) and maybe Mulvey to spot Rebracca.
While its great to see, Iowa gonna need a lot more 30/10 kinda nights outta Kris to try and finish around the midpoint (or better) of the conference standings this season.

It's been such a dismal stretch the last month, it was nice to see them gut one out. Gives me hope for the rest of the season.
Love the fight in these guys. I was ready to give up down by 21 only 6 minutes into the game. They just kept fighting. That block by Kris Murray was unreal - he was WAY up there with perfect timing.
Kris with 30 and 10 and the block to help seal the victory. The kid is so good. It's unfortunate he has to score nearly 30 ppg for us to have a chance to win a lot of these games.
Good job to everyone that stuck with this game. Really rough 10+ minutes to start the game.
Still blame that one on the refs, as should IU fans.
They call the IU foul when it first happened, it likely stops Perkins diving on the floor for the 'loose' ball and prevents the pile up of Thompson hurting himself by trying to avoid injury by colliding with/falling over Tony.

So they said Kris got fouled after that block right? Didn't see any contact, but I guess since Indiana was diving trying to foul Kris, they figured that they should do what Indiana wanted.

Well sorta......as with any ****official game thread ****, read the first 4/5 pages; as usual, premature & snarky.
Good game & very fun to watch. Not bad for an over matched team like Iowa. Indiana losing Thompson hurt them, but they are still the more talented team.
Reminds me of a Kevin Durant quote, "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard". Substitute "passion" or "grit" for hard work, that's what we just watched.
